Buying for Christmas

Vouchers are emailed as soon as you pay, so there's no last posting date. To have it arrive on a particular day, send it to yourself and forward it, or print it and put it in a card.

If the tour can't run

If we cancel a tour booked with a voucher, they choose a new date or a refund. The details are in our booking terms.

    Where to find us

    We pick up from Caffe Tazza D'Oro at the international terminal, on the Designer Outlet side of the station rather than the town side. Open the pin in Google Maps.

    Your tour starts

    Alex or Alastair is waiting at the pickup point. There is a short introduction and a chance to meet anyone else on the tour before we set off.

    A short drive south to Warehorne, planted in 2020 view beautiful views over Romney Marsh.

    • 11 & 3pm Tours Guided walk and viticulture talk delivered by the vineyard team, followed by your wine tasting.
    • 1pm Tour Its lunch time, Enjoy your food with your wine tasting. A chance to pair an English red wine (Divico) with food.

  4. On the road

    Across to Wayfarer

    Just eight minutes west to Woodchurch. Ask us anything about English wine on the way.

    Wayfarer is run by the Ashford family. Husband and wife Karen and Matt with Matt's sister Emma.

    • 11 & 3pm Tours Time for your locally sourced cheese or charcuterie, complemented by their award winning wine.
    • 1pm Tour A walk amongst the vines, the history of the family vineyards and an introduction to their winemaking.
    • NB Careful of Karen's hospitality, she can get carried away.

    We leave Wayfarer and drive you back, about twenty minutes away. Don't forget optional drops offs and offers!

    Back to Ashford for a train home or to carry on having fun. (doorstep drop available for locals)

Arrive by train

High-speed trains from London St Pancras reach Ashford International in 38 minutes, with around 40 direct trains a day. Check times and book on Southeastern. We meet you outside the international entrance, drive you to both vineyards and bring you back to the same spot, so nobody in your group has to be the designated driver.

Questions

Is there an age limit?

Every guest must be 18 or over, including anyone using a gift voucher. The vineyards may ask for ID.

How does the gift voucher work?

Each voucher is one place on the Autumn Signature Wine Tour. After you pay, the voucher arrives by email with a code. The person you give it to picks a date on our booking page and enters the code at checkout.

Can I choose the day the voucher arrives?

The voucher is emailed as soon as you pay, either to you or straight to the person you're giving it to. To have it land on a particular day, send it to yourself and forward it, or print it.

Does the voucher expire?

No expiry date.

Can I get a refund on a voucher?

Yes, if it hasn't been used and you ask within 14 days of buying it. Vouchers can be passed on to someone else but can't be exchanged for cash.
