The plan

  • Meet at Ashford International for the 11:00 tour: Warehorne, then Wayfarer with the platter
  • Back in Ashford about 16:00, dropped at the outlet rather than the station
  • Shop until closing. Guest Services keeps your bags, and any bottles from the vineyards, for free while you shop (Drop & Shop, bring photo ID)
  • Under five minutes' walk to the station for your train

We run this day Thursday to Saturday. On a Sunday the outlet closes at 18:00, which leaves two hours. The 13:00 tour works too, Thursday to Saturday, back about 18:00.

Good to know

  • Outlet hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00, Saturday 09:00 to 21:00, Sunday 10:00 to 18:00. Check the outlet's website before you go.
  • The free McArthurGlen Club gives 10% off at participating stores on your first visit.
  • There's no tax-free shopping in the UK.
  • Guest Services lends wheelchairs and mobility scooters for free.

    We meet you at Caffe Tazza D'Oro at the international terminal, on the Designer Outlet side of the station rather than the town side. Open the pin in Google Maps.

Our driver Aly was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and a real highlight of the day.
