Before you come

Shoes
We walk through the vines when the weather allows. The ground is grass and can be uneven or soft, so wear comfortable shoes or boots you don't mind getting muddy.
Layers
Vineyards are open to the wind, even in summer. Bring a light jacket or an extra layer for the outdoor parts of the day.
Food and allergies
Every tour includes a cheese, charcuterie or vegan platter. Tell us about allergies or other dietary needs when you book so the vineyard can plan for you.

At the end of the day

We bring you back to Ashford International. If you want to carry on, we can drop you at one of these instead, all within a five-minute walk of the station.

Tell us your drop-off at least 24 hours before the tour to get the Coachworks discount.

Guest feedback

  • My partner, mother in law and I love visiting vineyards in and around Kent. However, one of us always has to drive which means they miss out on drinking Kent’s finest. Thanks to Alastair and Alex, that’s no longer an issue. We were picked up by Alastair from Ashford International and driven to Warehorne where we were given a vineyard tour plus 4 wines to taste. Alastair then gave us a really interesting talk on the history of winemaking in England. After that, he drove us to Wayfarer where we had charcuterie, cheese and tasted 7 wines!

    Guest feedback,
  • A small group of us did the tour and we had the BEST day. Never would have found such amazing family run vineyards without the this tour. The tour guides were so warm and knowledgeable, really relaxing way to see the beautiful countryside. The wines were all amazing, especially the Rosè at Wayfairer. Room for a little dog as well.

    Guest feedback,
  • Such a great day out exploring the vineyards in the Kent countryside. Beautiful wine and gorgeous nibbles. Amazing hosts. Would highly recommend.

    Guest feedback,
  • Everything! The fun started in the car ride to the first vineyard and it was a seamless transition to the vineyard owner. The food was fantastic, I was probably expecting something more “rustic” but it looked really well laid out, it was lovely food and there was plenty of it. The owner gave us lots of information and chatted away but then left us to taste the wines as well so there was a good balance there. Similarly at the second vineyard there was a good balance between talking about the wines and their business and letting us chat about ourselves. And of course all the wine was excellent!
