About us
A husband-and-wife team from Ashford, hosting small tours to two family-run Kent vineyards.
We're Alex and Alastair, a husband-and-wife team who came to Kent a decade ago and fell in love with what we found on our doorstep: small winemakers making very good wine, often without much attention.
Between us we have more than 25 years of experience in emergency nursing, so caring for people has always been at the centre of what we do. White Horse Wine Tours grew from wanting to bring that same warmth and attention to detail into something we love. We keep the tastings relaxed and introduce you to the people who make the wine, where they make it.
We ran our first tours in early 2026 and set up White Horse Wine Tours LLP that May. We work with two independent, family-run vineyards, Warehorne and Wayfarer, and we're members of Produced in Kent and the Ashford & Tenterden Tourism Association.
